Numbers hold their own vibration and every year on the ninth day of the ninth month there is a strengthening and activation of number 9 energy, causing the 99 Gateway.

In numerology, the number 9 is known as the number of endings, however there is so much more to it as well.

Looking a bit deeper, the number 9 is believed to signify enlightenment and the creation of this Universe.

As Nikola Tesla once said- “If you knew the magnificence of the three, six and nine, you would have a key to the universe.”

It may seem odd that a number could hold a key to the Universe, but if you think about it, all creation follows a numerical order.

A single cell divides into 2, then 4, then 8, and this continues until human life is created. If you look at patterns in nature, there is always mathematical symmetry and geometry.

Mathematics was not something that was invented, it was something that was discovered, and through numbers, we can actually begin to understand in a different way how this Universe was created.

The number 9 is the last single-digit number, which is why it’s synonymous with endings, but if we take all the other numbers- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 and add them all together we get 36.

If we further break this number down to find the digital root by adding the digits 3+6 we get 9.

Here, 9 represents the sum of it all. The totality of all the numbers of creation and perhaps provides the first clue of why 9 holds the key to the Universe.

When we look at a circle we know that it’s a perfect 360 degrees and when we add these digits together we get 9. We also have 1,440 minutes in a day, which also adds to 9, and we have 86,400 seconds in a day which also adds to 9.

In astrology, we also concentrate on the 9 planets of the solar system and the 36 vertices of the sacred merkaba also adds to 9.

The meaning and significance of the number 9 runs deep, it represents everything and nothing all at the same time. It is the whole circle and the empty space that is inside of it.

On the 9th day of the 9th month, we can tap into the wisdom of the number 9 and tune into its vibration. We can tune into the totality of who we are, the Universe and the vast emptiness as well.

Seeing as 2018 is also a number 11 year, this year the 99 gateway holds the added vibration of 11 and 2.

9911 is the code to this year’s gateway and allows us to understand what vibrations will be on offer to us on this day.

9 allows us to tune into the entirety of the Universe, all of creation, and the zero point that created it. 11 allows us to tune into higher realms and to the idea of duality and partnership.

We are the whole and yet, part of our experience in the Universe is to also experience duality. If we look at the yin and yang symbol, we are the good, the bad, and everything in between. But in order to understand the whole, we have to also understand the other.

It is through connecting with others that we understand more about ourselves. It is through understanding the light that we can understand the dark.

The 99 gateway offers us a deeper awareness of this knowledge and also a healing when it comes to the relationships in our lives.

The first relationship we have is with ourselves, and this is the relationship that is the most important.

When we learn to love ourselves, we can learn to love others. When we learn to open to the fullness of ourselves, that is when we can open up to others.
